DR. DARNISA AMANTE

Dr. Darnisa Amante is an educational and racial equity strategist that is deeply committed to the study of culture; innovation; and adult development. Since earning her master’s degree in Anthropology from Brandeis University, and her doctorate from Harvard’s Educational Leadership Doctorate (Ed.L.D.), Dr. Amante has honed her knowledge of culture and adult development to transform organizational and school cultures on issues of equity; change management and re-design.

 

Dr. Amante currently serves as the CEO of The Disruptive Equity Education Project (DEEP) and as system level leadership lecturer at Harvard’s Graduate School of Education.

TIFFANY BROWN-GRIER

DEPUTY DIRECTOR, DIVERSITY & INCLUSION/COMPLIANCE, MASSPORT

Tiffany is the Deputy Director, Diversity & Inclusion/Compliance at the Massachusetts Port Authority. Tiffany has more than a decade of management and leadership experience and has worked in Diversity & Inclusion since joining Massport in 1995.
As deputy director, she leads and manages a team responsible for administering federal and non-federal Minority/Women/Disadvantaged/Small/Business Enterprise programs. Tiffany advocates for and creates opportunities for disadvantaged and small businesses in a broad spectrum of airport activities, including construction, architectural services, consulting/professional services, supplier diversity, real estate and concessions. In her role, Tiffany provides advice, coaches and shares diversity best practices to internal and external stakeholders.

TAMMY JONES

CO-FOUNDER + CEO, BASIS INVESTMENT GROUP

Ms. Jones has more than 24 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, investing and lending on CRE assets her entire career on behalf of large pension funds and institutional investors. Ms. Jones is a seasoned veteran in CRE investments, capital markets, and structured finance. Since 2009, Ms. Jones has served as both Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Basis Investment Group (Basis), a multi-strategy commercial real estate investment platform she founded with JEMB Realty Corporation that acquires and originates a variety of senior and subordinated loans, preferred equity and joint venture equity positions on behalf of its investors. Under her leadership, Basis has succeeded in closing nearly $2.7 billion in commercial real estate debt and structured equity related investments across the United States.

JAMISON PESCHEL

MANAGING PARTER, LONGFELLOW REAL ESTATE PARTNERS

Jamie is a Managing Partner of Longfellow Real Estate Partners and jointly oversees all development, investment and operational activities at Longfellow. Since co-founding Longfellow in 2009, he has been responsible for growing the company through the execution of value-add and development projects in excess of 1,700,000 SF for institutional and commercial tenants. Under Jamie’s leadership, Longfellow has invested more than $250 million on behalf of institutional investors. In addition, Jamie has played an active role in the leasing activities of the firm, including work with companies ranging from newly-formed VC portfolio companies to major pharmaceutical companies and academic institutions. Prior to forming Longfellow, Jamie held positions with RREEF Global Opportunity Funds, Accenture Strategy Practice
