EQUITY, INCLUSION & DIVERSITY

June 16  | 3:30 - 5:30 PM

ABOUT

For the past three years, Boston’s Commercial Real Estate (CRE) trade organizations have joined together to present the Boston CRE – Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity Summit.

This year, the CRE industry has the opportunity to work together toward an equitable and inclusive recovery that provides equal access to all. Our hope is that the 2021 Summit will challenge leaders to create spaces of inclusion and begin to name next steps and outcomes toward equity.

Maria Casanova, founder and senior partner of Maximum Learning and Consulting, will kick-off the event with an engaging keynote discussion on equity, the foundation of any DEI strategy. We will then have two in-depth break-out sessions, analyzing what it means to implement diversity, equity and inclusion. Topics to be discussed include:

  • The “Business Case” for effectively executing a DE&I Strategy

  • Understanding the Critical Success Factors and pitfalls related to deploying a DE&I Strategy

  • Exploring 3 Powerful Next Step Actions that will advance a DE&I Strategy

The program will conclude with a fireside chat with Kyle Bolden, Audit Partner at Ernst & Young LLP’s Real Estate, Hospitality, and Construction (RHC) practice, as we hear how Ernst & Young is advancing DEI.
